Thank you I enjoy this site

This is by far the worst selling app out there. Not because of its functionality but because (Leeann Matthews) who is "trying" to run the community's is on some sort of power trip, she apparently doesn't like other people making money. I have over 95 high reviews and multiple long time customers on there, but she revoked my ability to sell in the community's because I have a furniture store. What kind of stupid reason is that to revoke someone from selling? What a control freak.

So far my experience has been good but only had the account for 2 weeks now.

This app would not let me sell anything while I was not in my current location

This is my same account for me even though Facebook knocked me out & I had to reapply for membership again which I didn't think was fair since I have been a member in good standing for over 5 years in 3 different communities. This is the 3rd time Facebook has knocked me out of a favorite app. But this time Varagesale seems to be faster loading items to sell than last time, not sure. I just wish Varagesale didn't have to go thru Facebook. Me and Facebook are having issues.

When it works, it's a great app, that has helped me find many great items. There are so many glitches though. It keeps logging me out (by itself), and won't let me log back in and then when I finally get logged in again (usually takes days to get logged back in), a couple days later it logs me out again and won't let me log in and the cycle repeats. I also don't always get message notifications even though notifications are turned on. It's now been 1 full week of being unable to log back in.

OfferUp is better if for no other reason than you can maintain some anonymity. This app forces you to disclose too much information and await approval by the local busybody in charge. Since it is geared toward locals it leads to the "everyone knows" nonsense in smaller communities. You also have to disclose your information to quite a few of these "administrative busybodies" in order to expand to a useful sales radius around your residence. For me I had to add 7 areas to have a 15 mile radius.

Works well. A nice feature would be to allow editing comments as long as they haven't been read. I sometimes want a new line and end up posting instead.

Hands down THE BEST SITE to sell your pre-owned items!!! I've been a member for a few years now, and can veritably say my experience has remained POSITIVE!! :) The admin. stay involved and keep it in check! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

VarageSale is great, but the app is even less than mediocre. Sometimes I'll see that I have notifications about followed categories, but I have to kill and reopen the app to read them. Sometimes, ads won't open. Other times, there's a huge lag between a person messaging me and the notification popping up. Despite these issues, the app hasn't been updated since January 2021. That shows exactly how much they care about it.
